National Parks and Safaris: On either sides of the equator, there are 10 national parks that Ugandan boasts of. This experience is enthralling because you get to see the savanna teeming with antelopes, buffaloes and elephants in the backdrop of the white peaks of Africa’s most celebrated mountains and glaciers. The national park at Murchison Falls homes the Uganda kob, Rothschild’s giraffe, Patas monkey and many lions, elephants and buffaloes. A number of hippos and migratory birds can also be observed if you take a trip on a launch along the Nile.

Gorillas and Primates: This is the reason why most people visit Uganda! 30 tourists can visit the five habituated gorilla troops- four in Bwindi and one in Mgahinga National Park, daily!! On Ngamba Island you can find the orphaned chimps that had been rescued from the poachers. Kibale Forest has the maximum density of monkeys in the eastern Africa. In fact you could meet at least five to six species on just a walk down.

Adventure Sports: Uganda has a lot to offer to our vacation package adventure tourists traveling around Bujagali Falls. It is the starting point of the commercial route for white water rafting. You could also go kayaking or mountain hiking besides bungee jumping and quad biking.
Climate: Uganda basically has a tropical climate that varies with altitude. Because the altitude is on an average 1000 m, the temperature varies around 21 to 25 degrees. During the summer months, from December to February, the temperature rises to about 29 degrees. The rains pour during April and May and again from September to October. The northern region however has rains during April to October.
Most suitable time for visiting: The best times to visit Uganda are from December to Aril and from June to September. The rainy season can get you cheap vacation packages because the rains generally make the gorillas a little difficult to trek.
Landing and taking off: Uganda Airlines Services connect Entebbe to most of the major airports all over the world. Other carriers like Kenya Airlines and British Airways could also be used.
Internal Transportation: Flights are available from Entebbe to the main towns. Though there is an extensive connectivity of the country by minibuses the bus service is unreliable. But you should not have any worries as long as you are a customer of our inclusive vacation package.
Communication: The country code is 256. International dialing is available in the main cities. The mobile phones have a GSM 900/1800 network and have network only in the towns.
Currency: The local currency used is Uganda Shilling. You could also use Visa, MasterCard, Diners and American Express cards in the bigger hotels and shops.
Time: Uganda runs 3 hours ahead of the GMT.
Heath Information: You are required to produce an international vaccination certificate from yellow fever if you happen to come from an infected country. Vaccination against typhoid and anti malarial drugs should be carried by our travel package tourists. Tuberculosis, Hepatitis A, B and E and AIDS are also common diseases in the country. It is best to have a health insurance before you visit.
