Seychelles Travel Tips

With 115 islands just off the coast of Eastern Africa, Seychelles is fringed with palm trees and swish hotels, making it a traveler’s paradise.   1. Beaches: Seychelles boasts of about 65 islands which have silver white beaches. These pristine beaches make ideal spots for holidaying and lazing out. Climate: The weather is mostly warm owing to the tropical climate. The North-westerly trade winds visit the islands from October to March while the South-Westerly winds blow from May to September. The weather is relatively calm around April or October.

Most suitable time for visiting: Having almost the same climate all through the year, Seychelles is good to visit any time. However, if you are looking at great snorkeling and diving experiences, is it best that you visit during March- April or around October- November on one of our discount vacation packages.

Time: Seychelles runs 4 hours ahead of the GMT time.

Heath Information:It is advisable to get a health check up done and get vaccinations for polio and Hepatitis before you visit Seychelles. Antibiotics and anti-malarial drugs along with insect repellents should be carried because dengue fever and malaria are common.
