Time:  The time in Maputo and the rest of Mozambique is a couple of hours ahead of the GMT.

Heath Information: You need an international certificate proving the fact that you have been immunized from yellow fever, if you happen to come from an infected place. It is advisable to be protected against malaria, dengue fever, hepatitis A, typhoid, polio and bilhazaria. Colehra, tuberculosis and HIV AIDS are also prevalent. Hospital facilities are definitely not at their best and it is recommended that you have a health insurance plan prior to your visit.
