Being the largest city in the country, it houses the National Museum, the Mandela House and the St. Michael and All Angles Church. To the north of the city lies the ex-capital of Malawi, Zomba. The Zomba Plateau is well known for stretches of forests and vast waterfalls, making it the perfect picnic destination.
