Beaches: The Indian peninsula being bounded by the Bay of Bengal to the east, the Arabian Sea to the west and the Indian Ocean to the south- there are no dearth of good beaches covered with coconut and palm shades or emerald green backwaters and lagoons. Be it Mahabalipuram, with a septrum of colors in the backdrop or Puri in Orissa or the Kovalam beach in Kerala, each has a beauty of its own. Mountains: With the Himalayas to the north, it is not tough to guess the panoramic beauty that India homes. Kashmir is in fact considered to be paradise on earth. Besides, other ranges like the Karakorram to the north, Nilgiris in Rajasthan and the Aravallis on the Deccan plateau leaves you no scopes to complain. Climate: The climate varies widely among regions but basically India has a tropical climate. The summers from April to June are extremely hot. The monsoon starts from June and continues till September. Mid December to mid-February is generally cooler.
Most suitable time for visiting: Though we offer our discount vacation packages all round the year, the best time to visit the Indian plains is during the winter. However, the mountains are best visited during the summer months.

Internal Transportation: Domestic air service is mainly provided by the Indian Airlines along with a few other private airlines companies. Trains and roads connect the country throughout and cab services are quite reliable if you are on our inclusive travel package.
Communication: There is extensive use of the internet and mobile phones throughout the country. ISD and PCB centers are also found frequently. The country code to India is 91.
Currency: The local currency is the Indian Rupee. Credit cards and traveler’s cheques are accepted at most of the major hotels and shopping malls.
Time: The Indian Standard Time is 5.30 hours ahead of the GMT.
Heath Information: Reaching India, you would need to produce a vaccination certificate against yellow fever. Malaria and cholera are often reported in the country. The medical facilities in the urban regions are pretty good.
