Cambodia represents one of the most powerful cultures in the world and claims to be one of the best of our holiday packages. The famous Buddist temples scattered all over the country, known as “wats”, comprise of the largest building in Cambodia. They sparkle with magnificence and overlook the picturesque landscape that can be viewed from these heights. Cutting it short, Cambodia is a cultural cloud nine for all tourists.

   1. Angkor Wat: This particular Buddhist temple is known worldwide because of the area it covers and its brilliant architecture. A mystic tranquility pervades on this temple as it overlooks the jungle and its various shades. As the clouds play hide and seek with the sun, the diffused light makes the spot even more enchanting. In fact this place is said to be so great for photography that you can feel the real images even when you look at the pictures years later.
  2. Phnom Penh: The Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh is a French built city which stands at the confluence of the three rivers- the Mekong, Bassac and Tolne Sap. Near the Tolne Sap is the Palace grounds that give you a flavor of the Cambodian politics. The Throne Room is used for coronation of kings while Chan Chhaya Pavilion is a venue for all dance performances. There is a Silver Pagoda that houses an emerald Buddha. Phnom Penh also boasts of structures like the Independence Monument, the National Museum, Wat Phnom and several other museums and markets.
  3. Ratanakari: Covered in our vacation packages is this province that is a part of the Cambodian kingdom since 1960. Ratanakari is well known for the picturesque landscapes and the natural resources it is bestowed with. Waterfalls like Katieng, Kachang, Cha Ung, Ou'Sean Lair and Katieng along with the Norng Kabat Forest, Eisey Patamak Mountain and Yeak Loam Lake make this trip a total package for entertainment and excitement.

Climate: The Cambodian climate is mainly tropical. Three major seasons- dry (from November to March), summer (April and May) and the rainy season (from June to October); can be identified in the country.
Most Suitable time for visiting: You can visit Cambodia during any season with our discount vacation packages. However, the dry season is the most pleasant for people from cooler countries. The rains are best avoided because the countryside may be inaccessible.
Landing and taking off: Phnom Penh directly connects to Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and other major Asian cities. Dragonair, Thai Airways International, Eva Air, Bangkok Airways and the other important Asian carriers cater to the country’s air service requirements.
Internal Transportation: Though domestic air services are not at the best, you can travel by helicopters to almost all the places. Buses or cabs on the roads, train journeys and boat rides are easier and cheaper to avail. We cover all these costs in our inclusive vacation packages.
Communication: The country code to Cambodia is 855. Internet cafes are plenty in number in the major cities. However, other parts of the country are not connected at all.
Currency: The local currency, Cambodian riel is used in the markets. Currencies, cards and traveler’s cheques are not accepted at most places unless they are US dollars.
Time: The country runs seven hours ahead of the GMT.
Health Information- You have to produce vaccination certificate as a proof of having being immunized from yellow fever. Anti malaria, typhoid, hepatitis and tuberculosis vaccinations are also recommended. It is advisable to have your health insurance on our cheap vacation packages before you get here.
