The Kalahari Desert on one side and the savanna on the other stretch in front of you like a never ending carpet are sure to create an adrenaline rush for all adventure lovers. The safaris in the savannas are truly unique and memorable. If you still crave for more, Botswana offers you the world’s largest wetland delta!

Attractions:
1.    Chobe National Park: This national park on Chobe is a part of the world’s largest inland delta, the Okavango Delta. It is homeland to many African birds like the flamingoes and the native animals like lions, cheetahs and zebras. Stretching over 4300 square miles, the park boasts of hosting safari tours. These tours are generally arranged from the head of the park at Kasane.
2.    Gcwihaba Caverns: 400 miles to the north west of capital, are the Gcwihaba Carverns, which will surely mesmerize the spelunkers. It is a trek of about two to three days and you should be carrying essentials like food, water, tall boots and flashlights with extra batteries. This is easily one of the most thrilling spots that any holiday package could cover.
3.    Gabarone: The capital of Botaswana, Gabarone, is bound to be a part of any travel package with the Botswana National Museum and Art Gallery, which is said to be having one of the most fabulous collections from history and of culture. The Gaborone Game Reserve is an ideal picnic spot for a day. If you want to enjoy the scenic beauty of the country, there is nothing like a hike up the sides of Mount Kgale.

Climate: The climate in Botswana varies hugely and can reach to 40 degrees during winter (late May to September) mornings and drop below the freezing point in the night. The summer months of November to March are generally cooler. January and February are extremely wet and the delta is in floods during July to October.

Most suitable time for visiting: The animals migrate during April to November making these months a great time to visit the country. We offer our discount holiday packages all through the seasons. But the months of November and December are calving months and you could witness the miracle of life in its purest form. During the rains of January to March, the birds migrate and the sounds that they make in the delta put you completely in sync with nature.

Landing and taking off: Air Botswana is the most important international service provider to Botswana. The international flights land mostly in Gabarone but there are also flights to Mown, Kasane and Francistown.

Internal Transportation: While in Botswana, you can travel either by air or by trains, mini-buses and on hire taxis. These are generally covered by the agent’s inclusive vacation package.

Communication: The international country code for Botswana is 267.

Currency: The currency of the land is Botswana Pula.

Time: Botswana runs 2 hours ahead of GMT.

Heath Information: Incidences of malaria and tick-bite fever are high. So carry insect repellents on your journey. Also carry salt tablets because newcomers often suffer from dehydration on exposure to the sun.
