Please, read to understand our business policies and terms to use mytravelasia.com

1. Cancellation Policy:

Between 45 – 30 days	:	20% of the booking rate will be automatically charged.
Between 30 – 19 days	:	30% of the booking rate will be automatically charged.
Between 19 days – no show charges	:	no show charges - 100% of the booking rate will be automatically charged.

Amendments:
Our amendment policy will apply only once your booking is confirmed. A confirmed booking is when we have advised you that booking is available and you have secured your booking by providing us with your credit card details.

To amend your booking you can advise us by filling our contact us form and inserting the word “Amendment” in the subject line. The email must include the following details:

1. Booking reference ID number
2. Email address you used for the booking
3. First and family name used for the booking

Amendments made more than 7 working days before the booking date that reduce the number of nights booked, will incur 1 full night stay charge per Adult/Child admin fee only for the number of reduced nights.

Amendments made less than 7 working days before booking date will incur a 1 night amendment charge for each booking.

These charges may occasionally vary due to some hotels/tours operators having more strict amendment policies during peak holiday or conference periods or festive season. In these cases our reservations staff will advise you by email the applicable amendment policy.

2 General Terms:
Should a customer fail to join a safari on departure or leave it prior to its completion, no safari fare/car hire and taxi/cruise/airline refund can be made.

3 Special Terms:
Apply for Airlines/Cruises/Taxis and Car Hire. Check for these conditions under the relevant bookings. In most cases, cancellation or change of reservation has an applicable penalty.

For Airlines:
The Passenger’s ticket in use by the airline or by other carriers concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tickets.

For Cruises:
The Cruises concerned are not to be held liable for any act, omission or event, during the time the passengers are not on board. The customer’s cruise voucher/ticket shall constitute sole contract between the cruise line/hovercraft and the purchaser of the voucher/ticket.

For Taxis/Car Hire:
The Taxis/Car Hire concerned are not to be held liable for any act, omission or event, during the time the passengers are not on the vehicles. The customer’s Taxis/Car Hire voucher/ticket shall constitute sole contract between the Taxis/Car Hire line/hovercraft and the purchaser of the ticket.

4. Passport and Visas - The onus is upon the customer to ensure that passports are valid 6 months prior to travel and have enough pages for immigration stamp. Visa/transit visa if needed should be obtained from the relevant Diplomatic Missions from the country of origin. Mytravelasia.com will not be liable for any air or on ground visas.

5. Health:
Anti Malaria precautions, yellow fever and cholera are mandatory for African countries & some Asian countries. Please note there is an option for purchase of insurance cover on mytravelasia.com. We advise that mineral water be used for drinking in African and Asian countries and not tap water.

6. Not included: (This varies from itinerary to itinerary). Insurance to cover for cancellation and curtailment, medical, baggage and money, emergency evacuation back home, beverages in certain areas, gratuities to guides, paddlers and to staff, any excursions not related to the safari, scheduled airfares, transfers and departures.

7. Discretion to Cancel: Mytravelasia.com shall have the right at any time at its discretion to cancel any safari/transportation or the remainder thereof or make any alteration in route, accommodation, and price of other details. In the event of any safari being rendered impossible, illegal or inadvisable by weather, strike, war, government or interference or any other cause whatsoever, the extra expenses incurred as a result thereof shall be the responsibility of the customer.

8 Photography: No photography of people, building, or state should be taken without prior permission. Consult the professional tour drivers or taxi drivers or guides.

9. Schedule Changes:
Although every effort is made to adhere to schedules it should be borne in mind that the company reserves the right and infact is obliged to occasional change routes and camps on safaris as dictated by changing conditions. Such conditions may be brought about by seasonal rainfall or bush tracks, airfields in game areas, by game migrations from one region to another, or airline or other booking problems, civil disturbances, quarantine, war.

10. Delays:
MYtravelasia.com cannot be held liable for any delay or additional costs incurred as a result of airlines not running to schedules. To cover for this, we highly recommend you to take out an Insurance Policy.

11. Age Limits:
Minimum age limit in camps and lodges is 8 years old and 12 years on exploration safaris.
Exploration maximum age is 80 years. If the age is misrepresented mytravelasia.com reserves the right to terminate the safari without compensation.

12. Baggage:
For safety and because space is restricted, please check whilst booking the kgs. or piece limit on international flights. For charter aircraft or small light aircraft within the country maximum allowed is 10 kgs. For tree safaris in African countries, a small hand luggage is recommended for overnight stays.

13. Linking to 3rd Party Sites:
(a) Hyperlinks to the websites of other persons or businesses are provided at your own risk. You acknowledge that the websites attached to these hyperlinks are beyond our control and that we do not endorse, warrant or make any representations about the content, products, services, security or reliability of that website.
(b) No representation or warranties:
The site and the information on the site are provided “as is” and we do not make any express, implied representation or warranties with regard thereto. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we disclaim all implied warranties in respect of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Mytravelasia.com does not warrant that the site or the information on the site: (a) will be error free; (b) will meet any particular criteria or accuracy, completeness or reliability, performance or quality; or (c) will be free of viruses or any other data or code which has the ability to corrupt or adversely affect the operation of your computer, data or network.

14. Disclaimer:
No liability of whatever nature whether in contact or in delete. ( Including
direct and consequential damages and damages attributable to any delay in transit or otherwise) however arising shall arise against mytravelasia.com, it employees, against or servants in respect of any act
or omission whether negligent or otherwise relating to or in connection
With the rendering of any service including without limiting the generality of the foregoing from the failure to carry out any instructions, or from any breaches or its standard forms and conditions or from any personal injury to any person whoever, in death or loss, damage or theft of any property of any person whomever.

15. Consent:
The payment of any reservation on the website by all customers is covered by that payment to all provisions of the conditions and general information contained on the web whether the customer has signed the booking form or not.
The terms under which the guest agrees to these reservation purchase cannot be changed or amended except by an authorized director of the company.
